Remodel - Getting Started

Today, the workers from Meadowlark started work on our big project to replace all of our main floor windows and to give the front of the house a major facelift. I thought this would make a good time to start blogging about it and posting pictures of the process. First, let’s look at the house before things get started.

The day before the crew arrived, I got to work taking down all the window treatments, leaving it all looking quite bare.

Now they start pulling down brick, revealing what’s beneath.

Only a bit more than an hour into the project. It didn’t take long to bring down that brick. I still hear them going at it. Can’t wait to see how it looks at the end of the day.
