Welcome to My Iowa

Martha and I took a plane to Iowa to visit her mother’s family. There was a high school graduation and a wedding reception, and most of the McFadden clan was gathering for these events. It was a great opportunity for me to meet family that I had not yet met, and to get to know better the relatives that I had met only briefly.

At the top of the page, the picture on the left is Martha & me in Pella where we went to a tea house and poked around some shops. The top center picture is Uncle Harlan working on the farm. The bottom center picture shows some buffalo on a wildlife refuge near Prairie City. The picture to the right is Richard grilling some burgers.
