Cinder Hills Overlook

From here we can see how the landscape was affected by a volcano that erupted about 900 years ago. Large areas are covered in dark volcanic gravel, while other areas are covered with large chunks of volcanic rock; a lava flow frozen in time. Still, this creates fertile ground for some very beautiful flora.
