Oboe Day
It’s a beautiful morning. The photo I just took and added to this entry is the view from our room. I like looking out and seeing mountains. If you look closely, you may see the curtains reflected in the window, which stays shut because we have the air-conditioner turned on. Not too high, we don’t want to be refrigerated.
Today is all about the oboe. Martha has a ten o’clock appointment to work with David Weber on the instrument, and Martha expects that this will last 3 or 4 hours. I’m sure we’ll have a break for lunch together somewhere in the middle of that. While she works on the oboe, I’ll be looking for ways to entertain myself; maybe a swim in the motel’s pool.
It’s about 8:30 am here right now, so we haven’t had any adventures yet. Maybe Martha will write the next entry and talk about her experience with the oboe.
