Desert Botanical Garden

Today we went to the Desert Botanical Garden, and it was beautiful. We both took some wonderful pictures which we will be posting soon. It’s worth mentioning that although Phoenix usually has a dry heat around this time of year, humidity has been unusually high and we even had a couple short sprinkles of rain. The locals found it quite remarkable. They remarked on it.

Now we are getting ready to go to the art gallery district of Scottsdale where we plan to look around for a nice place to have dinner. We have been told that there are lots of nice places to eat in this area and we want to be spontaneous and pick one when we get there. We also want to walk around and check out the gallery scene, though I suppose most of the galleries will be closed.
