On Vacation and Excited

Staying up late for two reasons. One, I’m on vacation now and I don’t have to get up to work tomorrow. Still, I’ll be heading to bed in a few minutes (it’s after 1 AM). Two, I’m so excited about the trip that is now just a few days away. My parents will be here in a couple of days, though I suppose since it is now technically Tuesday, I should say they’ll be here tomorrow. Then Thursday we fly to Newark and then on to Ireland.

I’m carefully planning how to pack my technology into my carry-on. I’m bringing quite a few things, but trying to leave out any unnecessary cables and carrying bags. I’m making PDFs and print-outs of important documents. I’m very excited, but right now I’m also very tired, so I’m off to bed.
