South Mountain Park
This evening, with the oboe work behind us, we set out for South Mountain Park to watch the sunset over Phoenix. The photo included in this post is just one of the pictures you’ll find from this excursion on this web site. I’ve posted an album of 23 pictures in the photographs section.
In addition to the beauty of the sunset and the city lights, the drive up the mountain was beautiful. Well, I only caught glimpses because I was keeping my eye on the road, but Martha tells me it was beautiful. Also, the breeze up at the top felt really good after the heat of the day.
I also took some video while I was up there, but I have not yet seen how that turned out.
Tomorrow morning we will be heading up to Flagstaff. We have not yet decided whether to go directly there, settle in at our cottage, and then make some excursion, or if we will have our excursion on the way up to Flagstaff.
I plan to keep editing this site over the next couple of days, but I may not be able to publish those edits until later because I don’t think I will have access to the internet. Of course, I won’t even be editing while we’re in the canyon because I won’t be taking the computer down there.
So this might be the last entry for a few days, but I’ll post when I can.
This sequence of photos was taken at Dobbins Lookout in South Mountain Park. Beautiful!
